Cooking in Bloom empowers children to be advocates of sustainable life choices that will impact the community by decreasing food waste, childhood hunger, and chronic disease.
Denise Albert is a wife and mother of two children. During her time as a stay at home mom she became entrenched by volunteerism.
Denise holds a Bachelors degree in dietetics and a Masters degree in Public Health. She spent 15 years working as a clinical dietitian in multiple hospital settings where she was an educator and advocate for nutrition and how it impacts overall health and well being.
Her love of cooking and spending time with her children inspired her to launch Cooking in Bloom.
